316FC Academy (Classic): Tryout Registration (11U, 12U, 13U)
316FC: Academy (Classic) is built for athletes who are ready to grow, compete and commit to year-round development. Our 11U, 12U, and 13U teams provide a structured, competitive environment focused on skill development, game understanding and long-term growth.
IMPORTANT:
This is a tryout registration only. Spots are not guaranteed and will be earned through the evaluation process.
Age Groups and Birthdate Ranges
(Per NCYSA, age is determined based on August 1st, 2026)
- 11U: Players born August 1, 2015 – July 31, 2016
- 12U: Players born August 1, 2014 – July 31, 2015
- 13U: Players born August 1, 2013 – July 31, 2014
Season Structure (Year-Round Commitment)
- Summer Training (June to August):
Team training begins in June with a focus on fundamentals, conditioning, and team systems. - Fall Season (August to November):
Matches begin in August with league play and end-of-season tournaments running through November. - Off-Season Development (November to February):
Continued training opportunities focused on skill development and athletic performance. - Spring Season (February to May):
Matches begin in February with league play and end-of-season tournaments running through May.
Tryout Details
- Dates: Tuesday May 19th AND Thursday May 21st
- Times: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
- Location: Michael T. Whitson Athletic Complex (3512 Faith Church Road, Indian Trail 28079)
Financial Commitment
- Annual cost: $1,200
- Details of costs breakdown will be presented to those families present at tryouts
- Flexible payment options are available
- Travel, hotel and food expenses are not included and the responsibility of families, as travel distances and location sites will vary
