316 Sports DIRECTOR COVENANT STATEMENTS

·       I will work with the leadership team to develop and implement strategies for a successful season within the age range and sport I have been assigned to.

·       I will work with the coaches, referees and parents to create a positive atmosphere, athletically and verbally at all times.

·       I will contact the coaches weekly with needed practice/ game information and keep up with game results through the website to stay current on records.

·       I will be prayerfully prepared to share the Truth Time effectively with my division.

·       If an issue arises, I will follow the 316 Sports Conflict Resolution Guide to the best of my ability, giving attention to reconciliation of the parties involved.

316 Sports COACH COVENANT STATEMENTS

·       I will commit to be a transformational coach who authentically acts and leads each student­ athlete for his/her best interest, first as a person and second as an athlete.

·       I will create and maintain a learning and development environment.

·       I will instruct and admonish in a manner that is encouraging and honest, telling the truth with love and grace, for the best interest of the athlete and team.

·       I will work with the Director to create and implement a practice structure and game plan designed to enhance the development of the individual and team.

·       I will coach and lead athletes toward selfless unity and sacrificial love for their teammates and peers.

·       I understand that coaching with 316 Sports is a privilege and that if a conflict arises, I will follow the 316 Sports Conflict Resolution Guide partnering with my Director immediately.

316 Sports ATHLETE COVENANT STATEMENTS

·       I will attend practices and games as scheduled and be on time.

·       My parent(s) and I will be responsible to communicate with my coach regarding missed practices and games.

·       I will commit to give great effort and diligence in preparation and to be coachable at all times.

·       I will take responsibility for my attitude and my actions.

·       I will commit to be disciplined, humble and to exercise self-control in all situations, on and off the field of competition.

·       I will refrain from ridicule, harassment, profanity, unedifying speech and bullying of any kind.

·       If I have an issue with a teammate or other player, I will tell my coach first.
