Field Hockey Overview

Girls Field Hockey (Grades 5–7 | Ages 10–12)

Partner: We are excited to partner with Charlotte Ambush to bring this to life.
Practice: Tuesdays & Thursdays 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM
Location: Matthews Sportsplex – Area B, Field 5

Cost: $119

Program Focus:

This program is designed as an introductory-to-developmental field hockey experience. Practices will emphasize skills and drills, focusing on the fundamentals of field hockey such as stick handling, passing, footwork, positioning, and game awareness. The goal is to help players build confidence and proficiency so they can thrive in competitive situations as they continue to grow in the sport.

The season will conclude with an end-of-season tournament hosted by Charlotte Ambush, giving players the opportunity to apply their skills in a competitive and exciting environment.
